Friday was my birthday and it's officially my Jordan Year! I'm 23 and I really do feel old, ugh! Lol. But I had one of the most amazing birthdays thanks to my family and friends and I couldn't be more thankful. My boyfriend made me feel like a princess, all of my friends helped me dance, drink and celebrate all night long, and my sisters helped me end the weekend on a delicious note!
On Friday (my actual birthday) Rio and I went to the Colorado Fondue Company....and oh-em-gee is it good!! It's kind of like a Melting Pot but better! We had cheese, all kinds of meat that we wanted, yummy veggies and an amazing chocolate fondue to finish! If you're in the Orlando area you definitely have to check it out.
Saturday my boyfriend and I went to the driving range where I found out I am no Tiger Woods at golf (I think we both already knew that though!) Saturday night was the big celebration with all of my friends. Dave & Busters to play a few games, dinner at Maggiano's (ugh, so yummy) and then drinks and live music at Tin Roof all on International Drive! I have the most amazing friends and I honestly couldn't have had a better time. I wore this coral Kimchi Vanessa Velvet romper from Urban Outfitters. I'm wearing an extra small with no alterations. I got so many compliments on it and I definitely recommend it for my petite friends! It fit perfectly!
Sunday was spent with my boyfriend and sisters at Planet Hollywood for a fun family dinner. It was the perfect way to top off the weekend! We got the Planet Meltdown dessert...it's a chocolate sphere with warm chocolate fudge cake in the middle and we had them put a scoop of ice cream on it. They melt it with hot caramel right at your table....so incredibly delicious! However, I would recommend the Brownie Sundae Martini over it if you have a big group. Definitely the yummiest martini I've had to date. It's safe to say I'm exhausted and all partied out!
I have so many plans and goals for this year and so much I'd like to accomplish. But I do have to say this last year was filled the highest highs, and lowest lows. The highs include graduating college, getting a "big girl job", shoot a game show for a major television network, and celebrating a year with my boyfriend. I have so much to be thankful for. But with all these amazing things came the worst time in my life thus far, losing my grandma. This is my first birthday I've spent without her on this earth. I would have given anything to be able to hear her voice on my birthday this year. Otherwise, I couldn't be more happy with how my birthday turned out this year!
So sorry about no #theshortgirldiaries last week but you can count on it this week! Birthday planning took up my time! But as always thanks for reading peeps!
