Sister Saturday

1/25/2016

The great thing about having my little sister here at UCF now is that I have her to drag along on fun little adventures.  We took a Saturday morning and decided we wanted to do something other than lay out at the pool or beach like normal Floridians. So we took it back to our Pennsylvania roots and headed across campus out on the trail at the UCF Arboretum! We parked in garage C on campus and walked across the street to the Timothy R. Newman Pavilion and started out on the trail.

So we ended up going left and making one big loop back around to the Creol Pond. If you look at the map we went around the Cypress Trail and turned onto the Fire Loop to take us to the edge of the pond. The pond was really beautiful and there were lots of birds hanging around the whole time. We looped back around and ended our short little hike around the arboretum. If you're ever bored and want to just get out of the house and go for a little walk, I'd definitely recommend taking a stroll through the arboretum. It's scenic and there's of course plenty of birds walking around as well!

It was nice to be outside and enjoy some nice weather and nice scenery! Stay tuned because I'm going to share one of my favorite pasta recipes next! Thanks for reading!
