So I recently got a lot of compliments and questions about a makeup look I did, so I thought I'd share it with everyone! I'm no professional makeup artist but if you know me you know I definitely love playing around with my makeup. The great part is I don't really use expensive, top dollar brands either! I think you can get almost identical looks using drug store brand makeup, as the professionals do with the luxury brands. I do have some things I splurge on like the Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit (definitely worth the money!) and my few Mac lipsticks. But it's mostly all brands you can find at Walmart or your local drug store! First, I always make sure I moisturize my skin well after washing my face and before applying any makeup. If you're skin is too dry, applying make up on top of that only makes your skin even more dry and irritated. I recently purchased Olay Complete all day moisture cream for normal skin, and I'd definitely recommend it! Okay now onto the makeup! I change up my liquid foundation quite a bit just because I think the same ones starts to look different on my skin after a while. For now, I've been using the CoverGirl Ready, Set, Gorgeous foundation. It's only $8 and is oil free which is a plus! Next I put CoverGirl+Olay De-Puffer concealer under my eyes. Then I apply NYX HD Finishing Powder in Translucent under my eyes, across my jaw line, and in my T-zone. I let it sit for a minute or so and then blend it in before applying my powder foundation. Then I put on L'Oreal True Match powder foundation and my base is done! I use the Anastasia Beverly Hills Original Contour Kit to contour and highlight my cheek bones and around my forehead and nose. I do use the Sephora Contouring 101 face palette on a daily basis to contour my face! For my eyes I used CoverGirl Eye Enhancer 4-Shadow Kit in 'blushing nudes'. I use the two lighter pink colors on my eye lid and right below my crease, and put the darkest color all across my crease. I highlighted underneath my brows with the white color at the end. For eye liner I use L'Oreal Infallible Lacquer Liner 24H in 'blackest black'. I recently started using this with the brush that comes along with it and think it looks better, and stays on a lot better than regular liquid liner. For my eye lashes, I always curl them before, and I always use at least two different mascaras because I think it enhances them and makes them a lot thicker. For this I used two different Maybelline mascaras: Great Lash with a curved brush in 'very black' and The Colossal Volume Express in 'glam black'. I apply it to both my top and bottom lashes. For my eyebrows, I line them with the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz pencil in 'granite'. Then I'll use that to fill them in along with the Salon Perfect Eyebrow Defining kit. On my lips is NudeStix Lip & Cheek pencil in 'mystic' and 'whisper'. They're kind of a new brand and I LOVE their lip pencils!! They have great nude colors and stays on REALLY well! Finally, I finish with a spray of L'Oreal Infallible makeup extender to make sure my makeup will last throughout the day. So that's all of the products I used for this look, and most can be found right around the corner from you at a local Walmart or drug store! Sorry to all the people that asked me about what makeup I use and I totally couldn't remember, whoops! Thanks for reading everyone! :)
